Variables

Type a name in curly braces, like {player.username}, into a command or a message and the panel puts the real value there at the moment it runs.

Variables work in tasks, trigger tasks, achievements, shop packs, supporter tiers, vote reward commands, Discord messages and Discord stats channel names. Open Variable list under any command or message field to copy one.

Tip: The names follow the convention most game panels use, so a command you already have from another panel usually works as it is.

Who the command is for

VariableGives you
{player.id}The player's platform id (EOS on ARK, the PalDefender id on Palworld).
{player.username}The player's name. {player.name} is the same.
{player.token_count}Their token balance right now.
{character.id}ARK: the character's in-game id, the one GiveItemToPlayer expects. Palworld: the PalDefender id that giveitems expects.
{character.name}The character's name on the server the action runs on.
{group.id}The tribe (ARK) or guild id.
{group.name}The tribe or guild name.
{custom_role.N.days_remaining}Days left on custom role N. Also hours_remaining and minutes_remaining. 0 when the player does not hold it, empty when it never expires.
Important: When a command names a player the panel cannot identify yet (for example an ARK character the panel has not seen in-game), the command is not sent. A shop delivery stays Pending and retries; a task run shows as Partial with the reason. Nothing half-filled ever reaches the game.

Servers, clusters and the dashboard

VariableGives you
{gameserver.name}The server the action runs on.
{gameserver.short_name}Its short name (falls back to the name). Also {gameserver.website_name}.
{gameserver.online_player_count}Players on that server.
{cluster.name}The server's cluster.
{cluster.N.online_player_count}Players in cluster N. Also online_servers_count and online_slots_count. N is shown on the cluster page.
{dashboard.online_player_count}Players across all your servers. Also online_servers_count and online_slots_count. Refreshed every 4 minutes.

Scheduled tasks

Every scheduled task shows its own variables on its page, for example {task.12.next_run_datetime}. Use them to tell players when the next restart is.

EndingGives you
last_run_datetimeWhen it last ran, e.g. 2026-11-03 05:00:00.
next_run_datetimeWhen it runs next.
minutes_until_runWhole minutes until then. Also hours_until_run and days_until_run.
diff_for_humansReadable, e.g. "2 hours from now".

Deliveries and purchases

VariableWhereGives you
{delivery.id}Shop packsThe delivery's id, as shown under Deliveries.
{delivery.status}Shop packsIts status while it runs.
{variable.item_name}Shop packs, tiersWhat was bought.
{variable.purchase_quantity}Shop packsHow many.
{variable.purchase_amount}Shop packs, tiersThe price paid (tokens in the shop, money for tiers).
{variable.purchase_currency}Shop packs, tierstokens, or the tier's currency.
{variable.purchase_date}Shop packs, tiersWhen.
{variable.transaction_description}Shop packsThe wallet line, e.g. Bought "Starter kit".
{variable.purchase_type}TiersOne-time, Recurring or Patreon.
{variable.gateway}TiersThe payment method.
{variable.gateway_refid}TiersThe payment's reference.

In config templates

The config template files are filled in for each server right before it starts, so one template can serve many servers.

VariableGives you
{gameserver.game_port}The server's ports. Also query_port, rcon_port and raw_port.
{gameserver.rcon_password}The server's RCON password. Only in config templates, never in messages.
{gameserver.list_name}The name in the in-game server list. Also slot_limit and map.
{gameserver.plugin_ids framework="ArkCurseForgeFramework"}Installed mod ids in load order, comma separated. ArkSAServerApiFramework lists the plugins.
{cluster.id}The cluster id the servers share.
{container.home_root}The server's folder on the machine. Also {container.name} and {container.id}.

Other

  • {text}: the chat or command text that fired a chat trigger.
  • {helper.uuid}: a fresh random id. {helper.date_iso8601}: the time now in UTC.
  • {machine.ip}: the address of the machine the server runs on.
  • Older short names still work: {player}, {tokens}, {eosid}, {date}, {time}.
  • A name the panel does not know is left exactly as you typed it, so braces your game needs are never touched.

Cluster chat has its own short list ({charname}, {servername}, {groupname}, {message}), see Clusters.
