Config templates
A config template is a reusable set of server config files. Apply it when creating servers so they all share the same rates, rules and settings.
Creating a template
- Open Servers → Config templates (or the
+next to it in the sidebar). - Give it a name and pick the game, starter config files are seeded for you.
- Edit the files (e.g.
GameUserSettings.iniandGame.inifor ARK) and save.
Folders
Use the pencil (✎) next to Config templates in the sidebar to create folders (e.g. PvP, PvE). Assign a template to a folder with the Group dropdown in the templates table; the folder then shows only its own templates, while Overview lists them all.
Applying, automatic on every start
Select the template when you add a server. From then on the template's .ini files are written to the server automatically every time it starts or restarts, so the template is the single source of truth. Edit the template, restart the server, and the new rates/rules are live in-game.
In-game admins
Add a player's EOS / platform id to the template's Admin IDs field (one per line). On the next start the panel writes them to the server's allow-list (AllowedCheaterAccountIDs.txt) so those players are admins in-game, no password needed. Anyone can also become admin with EnableCheats <admin password> in the in-game console.
